Our Approach

WAMITAB has had a focus on developing skills and technical competence to influence employability and career advancement since 1989. WAMITAB are widely recognised and respected to be the market leader in our sector.

WAMITAB Assessment will listen to employers prior to contracting in order to understand their business and ensure that our end point assessments will meet their needs. This process lays the foundations for a successful and long standing relationship and provides real value.

WAMITAB Assessment will work with employers from the very beginning of an Apprentices learning journey.

We will:

  • Tailor our end-point assessment offer to meet the needs of employers.
  • Cater for multi-site organisations, including national coverage.
  • Price competitively to offer value for money, including discounts for multiple Apprentices.
  • Offer advice and guidance to Employers, Training Providers and Apprentices  on the end-point assessment process.
  • Supply information upon registration about the types of assessments that can be expected, including sample questions

WAMITAB have been approved by the Education and Skills Funding Agency to deliver End-Point Assessment, our provider number is EPA0195.

WAMITAB only use occupationally competent, qualified Assessors and Quality Assurers, which means that Employers and Apprentices have confidence in the validity of the end-point assessments.

The End Point Assessment journey

End-Point Assessment is the final element of an Apprenticeship; it is carried out by an independent End Point Assessment Organisation to assess competence against an Apprenticeship Standard assessment plan.

The journey an Apprentices undertaking end-point assessment through WAMITAB Assessment will take looks like this.

End-Point Assessment cost

Apprenticeship Standards are assigned a maximum funding band by the Institute for Apprenticeships; a  proportion of this is to be paid for end-point assessment. The maximum amount that funding will support is 20% of the funding band.

WAMITAB Assessment doesn’t charge a standard tariff because we believe that every organisation and Apprentice’s needs are different. We use the recommended Apprenticeship Standard tariff as a guideline, but tailor each end-point assessment package to suit specific needs. This approach ensures our customers only pay for what they need.
